Electrician Websites in Austin, TX

If you install EV chargers, backup power, or panels for remodels anywhere from Round Rock to Kyle, your website should say exactly what you do and where you go. That’s how searches turn into calls.

What Austin Types Into Google

When Austin needs an electrician, it searches like this.

If you work the suburbs up and down I-35, name them. A customer in Leander may search for their own town instead of “Austin.”

“electrician South Austin”“EV charger install Round Rock”“generator installer Austin”“panel upgrade Hyde Park”“electrician Pflugerville”“electrician Cedar Park”“Austin Energy service upgrade electrician”

Austin Energy, Pedernales, and the suburbs

Hyde Park’s historic district grew mostly in a 1920s and 1930s building boom full of bungalows, and Travis Heights is a large historic district with a mix of older styles. Older homes like these often need panel upgrades, rewiring, and new circuits for additions.

Austin has had two big outages in recent years. During the February 2021 winter storm, outages peaked at more than 220,000 Austin Energy customers, and the February 2023 ice storm left more than 170,000 without power at its peak. If you install standby generators or backup power, give them their own page.

Austin Energy, the city-owned utility, serves about 437 square miles of Travis and Williamson counties, and service changes there involve a City electrical permit and Austin Energy’s service planning process. Pedernales Electric Cooperative serves much of the surrounding Hill Country, including Cedar Park, Leander, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, Kyle, and Buda. If you know the hookup process for each, say so.

Seguin-Based, Serving Austin

Under an hour up the road, not across the country.

5W Digital Co. is based in Seguin, about 49 miles south of Austin, with SH 130 as the direct route. We’re not an Austin agency, and we’re upfront about that. We work with Austin-area trades by phone, text, and screen share, and the free audit is a short video you can watch between jobs.

A Google Business Profile that names the parts of the Austin metro you really drive to, with photos from real jobs and services that match your site, is easier for customers to trust than one that claims all of Central Texas.

Questions

What Austin electricians want to know

I work all over the metro. Should my site say “Austin”?

Say Austin, and also list the towns you really cover, like Round Rock, Pflugerville, Kyle, and Buda, for customers who search their own town.

Is a generator page worth it?

If you install them, yes. It’s a specific job with a specific customer, and a page of its own is easier to find than a line on a general services list.

Can you write the content?

Yes. We write it from a short conversation with you about the work you do and want more of.

No Austin markup. Websites run $599 once plus $59/month Site Care (required), and the Get Found Bundle is $799 to start and $249/month after. Month-to-month, no contract.

From a Client

Proof from closer to home: Luis Madera runs Cam Collision, a New Braunfels body shop, and we made his website. His words on Google, unedited:

★★★★★
“I have owned a business for 6 years now and never made a website for two reasons, one I have been luck enough to stay busy and the other is because I'm extremely picky with work that I provide and received. Darren built me a website that was just perfect! Everything about it was exactly what I was looking for and more. I am glad it took me 6 years to get one. Any sooner and I would have missed out on his talent. Thanks again”
