Auto & Diesel Shop Websites in Georgetown, TX
Georgetown is in Williamson County, one of the Texas counties where cars still need an emissions test before registration. We build auto repair, body, and diesel shop websites that give each kind of work its own page, say plainly whether you test emissions, and turn happy customers into reviews the right way.
A city that grew by more than half in five years.
- Georgetown went from 67,176 people in the 2020 Census to an estimated 106,907 in July 2025, up 58.5%. Census QuickFacts
- 26.2% of residents are 65 or older (2020-2024). Census QuickFacts
- Georgetown is the seat of Williamson County, about 30 miles north of Austin. Wikipedia
Tens of thousands of newcomers arrived without a mechanic, and more than a quarter of the town is 65 or older and wants a shop it can trust for the long run. Both groups read reviews and services closely before they call.
Eight shop searches name Georgetown.
Four are general repair, two are body work, two are diesel. One starts with “best,” which is really a question about reviews. If you do all three kinds of work, each needs its own page; if you do one, own it.

Williamson County still tests.
Texas ended safety inspections for non-commercial vehicles on January 1, 2025, but DPS says House Bill 3297 didn’t end emissions testing. Travis and Williamson make up the Austin-area program, so a Georgetown driver still needs a passing emissions test before registering, and commercial vehicles in every county still need a safety inspection. If you’re an inspection station, a short page saying which tests you do, and when people can walk in, catches a search that comes back every year.
Pages we’d build first.
- Everyday repair and scheduled maintenance
- Collision and body work, if you take it, and how estimates go
- Diesel trucks, naming the engines you see most
- Emissions tests and fleet inspections, only if you’re a station
- A booking request with the vehicle and what it’s doing
- Photos of your own bays and the people in them
After a wreck, people want the steps.
Someone searching for a body shop has usually just had a bad day. Lay out what happens next, in order, and only the parts you really do.
- The estimate. Whether they book a time or just drive in, and roughly how long the look-over takes.
- The insurance side. Whether you work with their insurer directly, said plainly, and that they can choose their own shop if that’s true for their policy.
- Parts and timing. How you update them while the car waits on parts.
- Pick-up. A final look together, and any written warranty you give on the repair.
Ask every customer, the same way.
For collecting reviews, Google hands each business a shareable link and a QR code, and the code has to be created on a computer, not a phone. Google’s rules forbid paying for reviews with discounts or freebies and forbid asking just the customers who seem pleased. Our routine for shops: a counter card with the QR code, and one identical text to every customer after the invoice is paid.
Source: Google: request reviews with a link or QR code; Google: prohibited and restricted content.
What a client said about his website.
Luis Madera owns Cam Collision, a collision repair shop in New Braunfels. We built his website, and this is the Google review he wrote about it, exactly as posted:
“I have owned a business for 6 years now and never made a website for two reasons, one I have been luck enough to stay busy and the other is because I'm extremely picky with work that I provide and received. Darren built me a website that was just perfect! Everything about it was exactly what I was looking for and more. I am glad it took me 6 years to get one. Any sooner and I would have missed out on his talent. Thanks again”

Georgetown shop owners ask us.
Can I call myself the best auto repair in Georgetown?
We won’t write that. Let your reviews make the case; we link to them and quote them exactly.
Should the emissions page list a price?
Only if you post the same price at the counter. Otherwise say you do the test and how long it takes.
I do mechanical and body work. One site?
One site, separate pages, so a brake customer and a collision customer each land on the right one.
Do I need a separate page for Sun City customers?
Only if you really get a lot of them. A line on your service-area page naming the neighborhoods you see most often is usually enough.
