Electrician Websites in Buda, TX

Buda is a one-permit city: the electrical sub goes on the builder’s permit instead of pulling a separate one. That makes the general contractors you work with as important as the homeowners. We build electrician websites with a page for each, a clear list of the work you take, and your TECL number on every page.

Buda By The Numbers

A small city with high-value homes.

  • The median owner-occupied home in Buda is valued at $446,600 (2020-2024). Census QuickFacts
  • Buda covered 5.36 square miles of land in 2010 and 9.29 in 2020. Census QuickFacts
  • The July 2025 estimate is 16,166 people, more than twice the 7,295 counted in 2010. Census QuickFacts

Owners of newer, pricier homes add things: EV chargers, generators, shop buildings, outdoor kitchens. Each of those is worth its own section on your site, if it’s work you want.

City Of Buda Permits

One permit, and you’re listed on it.

The City of Buda calls itself a “one-permit city.” Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors don’t pull their own permits; they’re listed on the associated building permit, and a licensed contractor has to be registered with the city and named on that application. Electrical Contractor is one of the contractor types on Buda’s registration form. The city’s building page lists the 2023 National Electrical Code, and inspections need at least 24 hours’ notice.

On Your Buda Site

Two audiences, two doors.

  • A builder page: capacity, rough-in to final, how to send plans
  • A homeowner page for repairs, upgrades, and add-ons
  • A note that you’re registered with the City of Buda, if you are
  • EV charger, generator, and panel upgrade sections, only if you do them
  • Your TECL number in the footer and on the quote form
  • Call and text buttons on the first screen
Small Jobs

The line between a swap and a permit.

Buda’s permit FAQ says replacing light fixtures and appliances doesn’t need a permit as long as the wiring isn’t altered or replaced, while installing or changing an electrical system does. Homeowners rarely know where that line sits. A short “small jobs” page that says which service calls you’ll take, and that you handle permitted work properly, builds trust before the first call.

Texas Licensing

What a TECL license says about your shop.

To hold an electrical contractor license in Texas, a business has to employ a licensed Master Electrician of record, who can also be the owner, and carry liability insurance of at least $300,000 per occurrence and $600,000 aggregate. Builders pick subs partly on that paperwork. Putting the license number and a line about insurance on your builder page saves a round of emails.

How Buda Searches

One plain search, and room to stand out.

Only “electrician buda tx” passed our filter. People here type the trade and the town, nothing fancy. A page with that exact phrase in the title, and real Buda jobs on it, is what they’re hoping to land on.

Client Review

What a client said about his website.

Luis Madera owns Cam Collision, a New Braunfels collision shop, and hired us to build his website. Panels and breakers aren’t his business; doing the job right is. His Google review, as he wrote it:

“I have owned a business for 6 years now and never made a website for two reasons, one I have been luck enough to stay busy and the other is because I'm extremely picky with work that I provide and received. Darren built me a website that was just perfect! Everything about it was exactly what I was looking for and more. I am glad it took me 6 years to get one. Any sooner and I would have missed out on his talent. Thanks again”

FAQ

Buda electricians ask us.

Most of my work comes from two builders. Do I still need a site?

Builders change, and their buyers call you for warranty and add-on work. A site keeps those calls coming to you instead of whoever shows up first.

Should I post prices for small jobs?

Only prices you’ll hold every time. A trip charge or a minimum is usually safer to post than a per-job price.

Can the builder page take plan uploads?

The form can take attachments, so a builder can send a plan set or a photo of the meter base with the request.

When can it go live?

Typically 5 to 7 business days from receiving your photos, services, and account access.
