Website Design for Plumbers

When a pipe bursts, nobody reads a long page. A plumbing site should load fast, show the RMP license number, say whether you answer at night, and put the phone number under the customer’s thumb. This is how we build one.

What Callers Check

Four questions in the first ten seconds.

Can you come now?

If you take emergency calls, say so at the top, with the hours. If you don’t, say when you do answer.

Do you come to my town?

A plain list of the cities and areas your trucks cover.

Are you licensed?

Your Responsible Master Plumber number, where it’s easy to spot.

How do I reach you?

A call button that dials in one tap, and a two-field form for people who’d rather not talk yet.

TSBPE Consumer Advice

Homeowners are told to look for your number.

The Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners tells consumers that the Responsible Master Plumber’s license number should be displayed in all advertisements, that Master Plumber numbers start with an M, and that they can look a plumber up with the board’s license search. So we place the RMP number in the header and footer of every page, where a careful homeowner will look for it.

Pages Worth Having

One page per job you want booked.

A single page that lists twenty services says little about any of them. We’d rather write a short, specific page for each kind of call you want, and skip the ones you don’t.

  • Leaks and burst pipes, with what to shut off while they wait
  • Water heaters: tank and tankless, repair or replace
  • Drains and sewer lines, if you do camera work or line repair
  • Remodel and new construction rough-in, for builders who hire subs
  • Each town you serve, with real details about that area
  • About: who answers, who shows up, and your license
Plumbers Working From Home

Your address can stay off the map.

Google’s own guidelines use a plumber who works from home as the example of a service-area business: you hide the address and list the areas you serve. We build the site the same way, with towns in place of a street address, so the site and the profile agree.

Before We Write

Questions we ask every plumber.

The answers shape the pages more than any template does, so we ask them on the first call and write from your answers.

  • Which calls do you want more of, and which would you rather pass on?
  • Do you answer at night and on weekends, and is there an after-hours fee?
  • Gas lines, water heaters, slab leaks: which of these do you take on?
  • Residential only, or do you work for builders and property managers too?
  • Which towns are worth the drive, and which are too far?
  • Who answers the phone when someone calls from the website?
Client Review

What a client said about his website.

We have no plumbing client review to post yet. Luis Madera owns Cam Collision, a New Braunfels body shop, and this is his Google review of the site we made for him, exactly as written:

“I have owned a business for 6 years now and never made a website for two reasons, one I have been luck enough to stay busy and the other is because I'm extremely picky with work that I provide and received. Darren built me a website that was just perfect! Everything about it was exactly what I was looking for and more. I am glad it took me 6 years to get one. Any sooner and I would have missed out on his talent. Thanks again”

Simple Pricing

What a plumbing site costs here.

A plumbing site costs $599 to build and $59 a month after that for Site Care, which isn’t optional because it’s the hosting. If your Google listing needs work too, $799 starts the Get Found Bundle and $249 a month covers the site, the profile, and its upkeep. A profile-only setup is $349, dropping to $99 for plumbers who also take Monthly GBP Management at $199 per month. No long-term contracts. Monthly plans cancel anytime.

Google Business Profile is free from Google. Anyone can create and manage a profile at no cost. Our fees pay for our setup and management work. Working with a third party → (opens in a new tab)

All sales are final. Work starts when payment is received. Monthly plans renew automatically until you cancel; cancel anytime, effective at the end of your paid period. No refunds.

Free Map Check

Check your Google listing first.

Give us the business name and a number to reach you. We run a plumbing search in your area like a homeowner with a leak would, and email back the recording, normally by the following business day.

  • A narrated screen video, about 3 minutes, of your plumbing listing beside the 3 plumbers Google shows first.
  • Three changes worth making, simplest first.
  • No charge. Keep the file either way.

FAQ

Plumbers ask about the build.

Where does the RMP number go?

Header and footer on every page, so it’s visible wherever someone lands.

Can the site show emergency hours?

Yes, if you work them. We only list hours you actually answer.

Can I change a page later?

Yes. Send a new town or a price change by email and it’s handled as one of your monthly Site Care edits.

Do I need a Google Business Profile too?

It’s a separate thing from the site, and Google doesn’t charge for it. You only pay us if you want us to set it up or run it.

What if I want to leave?

Ask, and we send your site files within 10 business days. The domain stays yours.

Is there a contract?

No long-term contracts. Monthly plans cancel anytime.
