Marketing for Concrete Contractors

What you pour, where you’ll drive, and how a customer asks you for a number: we put those answers on your Google listing and your concrete website, and that’s the whole scope.

Our Part

Profile first, then the site.

Google Business Profile

Verification, one main category for the work you mostly do, a services list for driveways, patios, slabs or stamped work, and your towns.

Concrete contractor website

Pages for the pours you want, a gallery with each photo labeled by finish and town, and a request form that asks for square footage.

Ongoing profile care

Posts with recent pours, review replies and photo updates every month on Monthly GBP Management.

Left out on purpose

No pay-per-click, no lead lists, no flyers. Only the listing and the website.

Picking The Category

Say what the business is, not everything it does.

Google asks businesses to use as few categories as possible to describe the core business, to pick categories that complete the sentence “this business IS a,” and not to use categories as keywords. For a concrete outfit that means one category for your main line of work, with the rest of your services listed as services rather than extra categories.

The Address Question

A mailbox or a rented office won’t count.

Google says P.O. boxes and mailboxes at remote locations aren’t acceptable addresses, and that a rented mailing address you don’t operate out of, a virtual office, isn’t eligible for a Business Profile. A business that shows its address on Google should keep permanent signage with its name there. If your crews work out of a yard that customers never visit, Google’s guidance is to hide the address and set a service area instead.

Labeling The Gallery

Every photo answers a buyer’s question.

  1. Name the finish. Broom, stamped, stained, exposed aggregate: a customer searching for one wants to see it.
  2. Name the job. Driveway, patio, sidewalk, pad, slab or footing.
  3. Name the town. So a buyer in Seguin sees work near Seguin.
  4. Reuse on Google. The same labeled photos go up on your profile.

What We Ask You

Before we write a word for a concrete contractor.

Your answers set the services, the pages and the form fields.

  • Flatwork, decorative, foundations, or commercial pours?
  • Smallest job you’ll take: a single pad, a sidewalk repair, a full driveway?
  • Do you handle tear-out and haul-off of the old concrete?
  • Do you have a yard with a sign that customers can visit?
  • Do you work for builders and general contractors, homeowners, or both?
  • Which towns, and what counts as too far for a small pour?
Client Review

What a client said about his website.

No concrete contractor has reviewed us so far. Our one public review is from Luis Madera, owner of Cam Collision in New Braunfels, written on Google after his website launched. Here it is, untouched:

“I have owned a business for 6 years now and never made a website for two reasons, one I have been luck enough to stay busy and the other is because I'm extremely picky with work that I provide and received. Darren built me a website that was just perfect! Everything about it was exactly what I was looking for and more. I am glad it took me 6 years to get one. Any sooner and I would have missed out on his talent. Thanks again”

FAQ

Concrete contractors ask us.

Should I add a category for every kind of pour?

No. Google asks for as few categories as possible; the individual pours belong in your services list.

Can you run Google Ads for me?

We don’t do ads. Our work is your profile and your website.

Do I need a yard or office address on Google?

Not if customers don’t come to you. Service-area businesses hide the address and list towns.

What photos work?

Finished pours from your phone are fine. We label each one with the finish, the job and the town.

Will you need my login?

No. Invite us as a manager inside your profile and keep ownership yourself.

Is there a contract?

No long-term contracts. Monthly plans cancel anytime.
