Marketing for Garage Door Companies
Hours, phone number, services and towns: we set those up on your Google listing and repeat them on your garage door website so the two agree. We skip the paid-ad side entirely.
What we set up for a garage door company.
The Google profile
Your real business name, a main category, services for springs, openers, cables and new doors, regular hours, and More hours if you run a separate repair schedule.
The website
A page per service you want booked, opener brands you actually carry, tap-to-call at the top, and a short request form.
Month to month
With Monthly GBP Management we post, add photos, and answer reviews on your listing.
What we skip
Pay-per-click ads, lead marketplaces, direct mail. Listing and website only.

Make the hours match how you really answer the phone.
Google asks businesses to list their regular customer-facing hours, lets you set special hours for holidays and particular days, and says you can set More hours to highlight times for specific services. If your office closes at five but a tech takes repair calls later, that difference belongs in your hours, not in the business name.
One number, and it rings you.
Google’s guidelines ask for a phone number that connects to your business location, a local number rather than a central call center line whenever possible, and a number under the business’s direct control. Google also says not to list numbers that redirect callers to anyone other than the actual business. We put that same number on every page of the site.
One profile per business, with one exception.
Google says there should be only one profile per business, and that a service-area business gets one profile for its central office or location. If you have different locations with separate service areas and separate staff at each, Google allows one profile for each location. A second truck parked across town doesn’t qualify on its own; a staffed branch with its own crew can.
What we ask a garage door company up front.
Your answers decide the services list, the hours and the pages.
- Springs, cables, rollers, openers, new doors: which do you want booked?
- Which opener brands do you install and service?
- Residential only, or commercial roll-up and sectional doors too?
- Do you take after-hours repair calls, and until when?
- Do customers ever come to a showroom, or do you always go to them?
- Which towns do your trucks cover on a normal day?
What a client said about his website.
Our only public review is from outside the garage door business. Luis Madera owns Cam Collision, a New Braunfels body shop, and posted this on Google once his site went live. Copied as written:
“I have owned a business for 6 years now and never made a website for two reasons, one I have been luck enough to stay busy and the other is because I'm extremely picky with work that I provide and received. Darren built me a website that was just perfect! Everything about it was exactly what I was looking for and more. I am glad it took me 6 years to get one. Any sooner and I would have missed out on his talent. Thanks again”

- A recorded video, about 3 minutes, on your garage door listing beside the first three on the map.
- Three plain fixes, in the order we’d tackle them.

Garage door companies ask us.
Can I put “24 hour” in my business name on Google?
No. Google lists business hours information among the things a name must not include. Use your hours settings instead.
Should I use a tracking number on my listing?
Google asks for a number under your direct control that reaches your business, and a local number where possible. We use your main line.
Do you run ads?
No. We manage the Google profile and build the website; that’s the whole job.
Can you list the opener brands I carry?
Yes, the ones you actually install, as services on the site.
Will you need my Google password?
No. You invite us as a manager from your account and remain the owner.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contracts. Monthly plans cancel anytime.
